Kentucky Infants Safe & Strong Initiative
Kentucky is introducing a 5-star tiered recognition program to award hospitals that are moving towards full Baby Friendly Hospital Designation. Several Kentucky hospitals are working to implement the required Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding and follow these evidence-based practices that reduce the risk of Infant Mortality.
