Mini-Grants for Walkable Communities and Farmers’ Markets
Application Deadline: October 7, 2016, Midnight Central TimeCreating healthy communities starts with knowing what your community wants to change. When people are invested at the very beginning and contribute to the creation of a solution, their efforts are more successful and sustainable.
The Kentucky Department for Public Health Healthy Communities Grant Program is seeking applications from local health departments and their partners to receive technical assistance for developing a community readiness assessment, community asset map, community engagement plan, and training on pedestrian planning or promotion of farmers’ markets. We expect to award ten communities with $2,000 mini-grants. Please direct all questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
